Does Habitat give away homes?

No, Habitat does not give homes away. We build homes with homeowner partners and sell them with a 0% APR mortgage*. Homeowners in our program purchase a 30 to 40-year traditional mortgage on their home. All payments go towards the principal of the loan and escrow for Pinellas, Pasco, or Hernando County property taxes and homeowner insurance.
