# Why were my payments applied late when I have an online bill payment service and the funds were deducted from my account on the fifth of the month?

The bill payment service withdraws the amount due from your account and sends a check to Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas County. This process may take approximately two weeks before the check posts to your account.
